Karen Turner brings a blend of personal experience and professional expertise to her work supporting parents of children who are wired a little differently. As the former Business Director of two child development centres during covid in the UAE, Karen oversaw the operations and strategic direction, which gave her valuable insights into the challenges faced by families with diverse needs.

On a personal level, Karen is a parent of children with unique needs, which has given her a deep understanding of the emotional and practical hurdles that other parents experience. Her background in HR, along with her role as a trustee for a charity supporting families with disabilities and additional needs, enriches her approach to her work.

Karen is also a brand partner with the Mental Wellbeing Company and is currently studying a master’s-level qualification in Somatic Trauma-Informed Coaching and Leadership. She is passionate about helping parents create calmer, more connected relationships with their children through a trauma-informed lens.
